What if….
I don’t like to look back on my life and asking what if. There is nothing I can do to change anything I have done in the past. I can however change everything I do from this moment forward. So I am moving forward and seeing how life will be improved if I ask what if….
So what if…..
I don’t think of anything as impossible
I always give maximum effort
I take the road less traveled
I give without want
I chase my dreams
I Reach out
I practice more forgiveness
I spend more time enjoying the simple pleasures
I live in the moment
I stop having regrets
I don’t make excuses
I embrace being me!
I hope you enjoyed this! Do you have things that you ask yourself what if I improve on this? How could my life be better? I would love to hear your list, leave me a comment below and share.
I always appreciate people sharing so feel free to pass this on to your friends on Facebook, Twitter or your favorite spot. Have a great day!

I absolutely love associating with “glass half full” kind of people. I am diligently putting forth effort to cultivate those types of friendships.
I love the questions you have posed and the beautiful photos you used to anchor them in the mind. I notice you use a lot of photos. Are you the artist? Or do you just enjoy great art?
I look forward to connecting with you again, soon.

Hi Vanessa! I always love to meet other glass is half full types. I love art, design, photograpy and graphics but am not really an artis per se. I just have a deep appreciation for those things and try to use them as much as I can. Thanks for your comment, I look forward to connecting with you soon as well!

Hi Angela,
I love this post and the images! I was reading The Four Agreements which i’m an avid student of and I love the idea of just being you, accepting and embracing the real you … that’s really hard for many people. You’re so right on about the what if. That kind of “replaying” of stories that we’ve created for ourselves can drive us nuts, if we allow it to.

What a wonderfully refreshing post, Angela! I’m reminded of that great classic saying, “The past is gone, the future is not yet here, all we have is now. That’s why it’s called ‘the present’.” The lilies of the field, the birds of the air. They all know how to live in the now!

Hi Angela, that is a great post. My family has a saying that goes like this: don’t regret the past and don’t fear the future. A true saying, but to not fear the future you better learn from the past.
I live by that saying, and I have a never ending list of things I want to improve. And when I reach the end of the list I have a new list of things that I want to work on. So, yes I can relate to your story.

Angela,
What a beautiful post….absolutely love your graphics and your message. The simplicity is inspiring!
I think my biggest “what if” is…..what if I could live every moment of my life in complete connection with my true source. It’s sometimes seems like a lot of work to separate from the ego – working on it daily, hourly, and minute by minute…
Thank you for putting a smile on my face and stopping me dead in my tracks to reflect on this question. BTW, love, love, love your blog

Hi Angela,
What if indeed… asking this about the future rather then the past is very powerful, I find that the answer those positive what if’s like the ones above make it impossible not to change for the better…

You have a clean attractive blog. It is peaceful, unlike so may I see. Anyway instead of “What if”, I try to live by “if/then”. It is more active and not passive. Just a thought.

Hi Angela!
I really enjoyed this. I motivated myself earlier this year by imagining myself in the future looking back at this time. Would I say, why didn’t I try harder? Why didn’t I jump in and reach for my dreams? It was empowering. When I ran into my old limiting beliefs, I did some exercises and hypnosis to move further toward my goals.
It’s an exciting time … to travel the journey less traveled and reach for your dreams. As always, I learn a lot from you and find inspiration from your blog.
Best,
Jennifer

“If” is a word that just shouldn’t exist. It negates and eliminates the validity of everything that follows it. I would highly recommend that anyone looking to accomplish great things in life eliminating it from their vocabulary.

I so enjoyed reading through this post, and you’re so right, that we can’t change yesterday, yet we can choose to live for today and look forward to as many tomorrows as we have. Every example you showed is (in my opinion) ways to truly live your life full and never have to ask yourself “what if?”. I appreciate you sharing
