Why to Use a Funded Proposal in Network Marketing to Build your business Business
You’re probably familiar with the concept of attraction marketing and providing something special to people who give you their email address and name. You give them a free report or access to a video series as a thank you. It’s a classic way to build your list, and it’s a fine way to build your list. You have probably signed up to many things just for the free gifts, and you probably have ended up making a few purchases as a result too.
But let’s expand on this. What if you offered a really great quality product at a low price that was in some way related to your business or products? The people who become your customers have just proven themselves to be better qualified prospects than those who are just looking for a free giveaway.
That’s what a funded proposal is and why you want to be using a funded proposal in network marketing. You offer an excellent introductory product at a low price. This accomplishes several things:
- You get a better qualified prospect on your list.
- You make some money from that sale.
- That prospect will love the product they bought from you and want to come back for more, even if they don’t join your opportunity, chances are you’re going to make more money from that person.
The goals of a funded proposal in network marketing
The main goals of the funded proposal in network marketing is to bring a flow of money in from the beginning, as you start growing your network marketing business and to keep that steady flow coming in, and to bring you prospects who are pre-qualified. Since your buyer has already demonstrated an interest in what you’re offering by spending some of his or her hard earned cash on your product, you already know that this person has a better chance of joining you than someone who just decided they wanted to take advantage of some free offer. By showing that they are willing to invest in something that is related to your business or products they have proven themselves as worth your time to pursue.
Now there is nothing wrong with offering things for free. Good free products generate leads too, and plenty of interest. Freebies are fine. But the products that sell through your funded proposal system are going produce more positive results in the long run. As far as being a component of your marketing plan, the funded proposal in network marketing is not just an option – it’s a necessity!

Hi Angela, great to catch up again.
I adore the way you take the ‘jargon’ and put it into plain English!
‘Funded Proposal’ is a phrase that means nothing to a new marketer, yet you have effectively walked somebody through and explained it in such way that it not only makes sense, it makes good business sense!
Thanks for being so clear & consise

Hi Angela, I have heard the term “funded proposal” before but your explanation of what it actually is helps me to have a better understanding. Thanks for being so clear and concise. I just noticed that I sound like I am copying Mandy – which I am not – which is proof that what we both wrote is true.
I have certainly heard of Magnetic Sponsoring but haven’t seen it in detail. Something I am going to have to put on my to-do list.

Angela,
I heard only great things about “magnetic sponsoring”. As I was reading your blog I wanted to ask you if what you are writing about has been tested, but when you mentioned “magnetic sponsoring” I new it was.
I am hearing different versions from different people, right now I am giving 30-day free guest pass to my weekly program. You make me think…again….
Thanks for this post. I’ll check into what you are suggesting and visit again soon.

Hey Angela, it’s amazing to see still today so many people online continuing to SPAM people and try to hit them over the head with their opportunity and expecting people to join. Some may join, but it’s likely only to get these people off their backs (they won’t do anything so it’s a waste of time either way!). What a much more enjoyable and more importantly, effective way to build a business using attraction marketing (vs repulsion marketing
– not to mention more profitable with the additional commissions from all the tools and products. Great article!
