The A-Z of Network Marketing Success

Network marketing success does not come without work and a whole host of other factors. I decided to have some fun and get a list together of what it takes to find network marketing success.

Here is my big list of the things I think you need for network marketing success

A - Attitude. Having a positive attitude can make all the difference not only in your life but for your network marketing success. Life is so much about how we handle the situations we face and the attitudes we choose. As Scott Hamilton says, “The only disability in life is a bad attitude.”

B – Building. I think of network marketing like playing with building blocks with my son because you start out with just one and one by one you build it into this massive structure. Same thing with network marketing, you start out as just you and grow your business one by one into something massive.

C – Consistency. In order to have network marketing success consistency is needed. You can’t work hard on your business for a week and then take 3 weeks off. You need to be consistent in your work in network marketing just as you would with a traditional business.

D – Determination. In network marketing you need to have determination in order to achieve your goals. You will hear “no”, you will have bad days but if you have determination small obstacles are not going to get you down or stand in your way.

E – Enthusiasm. As Ralph Waldo Emerson puts it, “nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.” It is hard to build a great network marketing business if you lack the enthusiasm for what you are doing.

F – Focus. You will need to set your eyes on what you want and stayed focused until you get there. You can’t let setbacks or failures get in your way.

G – Goals. Goals will help you move toward where you want to be. Try for shorter and longer terms goals. For example set goals for a week but also set goals for 6 months, a year, 2 years and so on.

H – Habit. Getting into good habits is going to help you create network marketing success. Habits such as using your time wisely, working hard, being good to your customers, being available for your team and continued learning.

I – Identity. You need to create an identity or a personal brand in your network marketing business. You should be promoting yourself and what you bring to the table. People want to work with people rather than companies.

J – Job. Treat you network marketing business like it is a very important job. Make it your priority, set hours and save things like personal e-mail, phone calls and social networking for your downtime.

K – Kindness. No one wants to work with someone who is unkind. Your customers and team members will appreciate kindness and will respond well to you when you are friendly and approachable.

L – Leadership. For network marketing success you need to strive to become a leader. Learn to teach, work with and motivate others. You will get yourself much farther if you can learn to lead.

M – Mindset. Mindset can make all the difference in your business. If you have a positive mindset and attitude not much can stop you from what you are trying to achieve.

N – Need. It is important for your network marketing company to fulfill a need. If you are just looking for a network marketing company make sure the products fulfill a need that people have.

O – Optimism- Looking on the bright side of things and keeping optimistic will help you out as a network marketer. If you are pessimistic about everything you are going to have a much harder time in your business.

P – Persistence. Like Elbert Hubbard says, ”A little more persistence, a little more effort, and what seemed hopeless failure may turn to glorious success.”

Q – Quality. As well as giving quality and value in your own work you will want to look for a quality network marketing company. Your success or failure can depend on the quality of the company and their products.

R – Reading. If you stop learning you stop growing so one thing that is very important is to always be reading great books, websites, magazines, blogs, articles and anything else related to network marketing.

S – Sales. Obviously your network marketing success will depend on making sales. Not only is building a large down line important for success but you will also need to focus on sales.

T – Time Management. This is so important as a network marketer because there is so much to do. Learning to use your time wisely is one of the best skills you can learn.

U – Unbeatable. I like to think of myself as unbeatable. If I am defeated or fail at something I get right back up and try something new.

V – Visualization. You hear just about every company saying you need to know your “why”. Your “why” is a visualization of what you are trying to achieve in your business. The visualization of the end result will get you through rough times in your business.

W – Willing. You have to be willing to work hard and go the extra mile. You have to be willing to do things that others won’t to be successful as a network marketer.

X – X Factor is the thing that differentiates you from other people. It is the special something you have that makes you stand out in the crowd of all the other network marketers out there and sets you toward success. What do you have to offer that is special or unique?

Y – You. Your business is all about you. You won’t get too far if you don’t focus on what you have to offer, growing as a person and building your brand.

Z – Zest. Add zest to what you do in life and business and make it fun. While it is work it should also be fun. The dictionary defines zest as, “an enjoyable exciting quality.” So what is your enjoyable exciting quality?

I liked all you wrote… the word that comes to mind for me is Tenacity… holding firm to my beliefs and convictions, remembering my position in life, not allowing others to talk me out of my wants and goals, yet not being so stubborn that I can’t be taught a thing or two along the way.

What a great post! When I started reading I thought, ‘there can’t be one for every letter’ but you did it!!

I tried this once with tools you need online (like autoresponder, blog etc) and got so far, but couldn’t find anything for alot of the letters, lol
