What would you do tomorrow if you got fired?

Most people would panic. Maybe beg. What about you? Most people are not in a position to walk away from their job and be free of worry, but if you had a profitable home business the world would look very different.

Instead of worrying about redundancies you could instead give yourself a pay rise every single day, as your business grows. When you have your own Network Marketing business you won’t need to settle for a paycheck that barely covers the bills.

“Network Marketing” means you get to work as part of a team and leverage the time and skills of everyone else. It’s a smart way of growing a home business.

So many “traditional” business owners get stuck in Maintenance Mode with their businesses. They end up not with a business that serves them but with a business they become a slave to, and they end up even more trapped than they were working for a boss! A Networking Marketing business, on the other hand, has none of these disadvantages. You need no employees, no crazy hours, no premises, and you don’t need to tie your money up in stock. This means almost every penny you make is profit.

~ Residual Income: Getting Paid Whether You Work Or Not

The main benefit of a Network Marketing business is the potential to get paid a Residual Income.

You work hard to build up your business, and your income will slowly grow into something more significant month after month. Then after a few years your monthly income from your business will be large enough for you to quit your job or retire, and you won’t have to work for money any longer! Best of all… you will have the full support and training of hundreds of people who have been where you are now and become successful enough to quit their jobs. This cuts your training time dramatically. It means you won’t have to invest energy and money into finding out what doesn’t work.

You will have the step by step plan developed for you – you don’t get that in any traditional business! You get to own a business instead of letting it own you.

Hi Angela ~ You said it best in that owning your own business allows you to “own your life”. Very powerful stuff!! And, as you pointed out, Network Marketing is one of the vehicles that can get you there at a lower start-up cost, and of course the rewards from successfully working/growing your business…things like residual income and to basically change your life, and help you grow as a person (at least that is my view point of it). I also appreciated how you mention that this kind of business option allows you to work it and own it, not the other way around, which can be the case with traditional start-up businesses (such as franchises). Angela wonderful description of what it means to be a network marketing marketer with a profitable business and the benefits it offers. I would go one step further and say that the right attitude must be maintained to reach the level you describe but it can surely be done!

There are these different saying about jobs. One is that JOB stands for “just over broke.” Another is that your boss pays you as little as he can to keep you from quitting and you work as little as possible to keep from getting fired. It is great to be paid for years for what you do today.

Great post Angela. No job will help you to keep up with rate of inflation that we are suffering today. People need to look at starting a home business even if it’s part time. I’ve always heard that there is no BV in the TV and people should realize that.

Great post…it is nice to remind people that there is an alternative out there to the 9 to 5. I think at the same time it is important to remind people that business requires grit and determination. However doing business with so many other people online just like a lot of us, is a heck of a lot of fun.

Hey Angela, great perspective and comparisons illustrating the many benefits of a networking marketing business. People really do need to understand how difficult traditional business is and the many never-ending headaches that are associated with it. It’s crazy how someone can get into and started with a network marketing business with so little effort, resources and commitment and yet have so much opportunity available to them from day 1. A McDonald’s business franchise costs somewhere around $1.2 million just for the rights! Plus you have to go to Hamburger university and work at every station in the business – you’re training for at least 6 months before you even have the possibility of making a dime. And yet here in network marketing people can earn 6 figures or more their first year, working their business around their schedule, all for virtually no risk…. You got me fired up! If people could experience the freedom of commuting to their home office every day, going to the mailbox and getting checks for work that is on “autopilot” and will continue whether we do anything or not, being able to go out to lunch or to a school event….there’s just nothing better!! We truly DO OWN OUR LIFE..and have for over 20 years now. Once you know what this is like, you never want to go back. It takes dedication, commitment, and persistence at first, but once you have a business you can count on, it’s awesome.

I love this quote. A lot of people take themselves for granted thinking everything will get better in the future when they achieve whatever it is they’re trying to achieve, only to find out they are wrong in the end — when it’s already too late. I’ve realized this when I started having kids. I’d rather be spending my time with them and enjoying life than to be tied to my work desk all day. I’m still in the process of making it on my own, but right now I’m fortunate enough to be working from home most of the time. Thank you for such a motivating post, Angela.
