5 Things That Will Help You Rock and Find Success in Network Marketing
In the Network Marketing business there are so many things that will affect how well you do. I wanted to figure out 5 things that I think you really need to become a success in network marketing.
I think these are the 5 things that will help you reach your full potential and find success in network marketing
Drive. You have to have drive, hustle and and self motivation. A pattern tends to emerge with the people who have found success in network marketing and those people who do well, work hard. The successful people do not settle for the status quo and just do what it takes to get by. Successful people have the drive and hustle to make big things happen
Character. This quote defines it perfectly. “Everyone tries to define this thing called Character. It’s not hard. Character is doing what’s right when nobody’s looking.” So do you behave differently when you are alone than when you are with people? If not, then you are a person of character. You need to have integrity even in tough times. You need to stand up for yourself yet be considerate, gentle and flexible.
Taking Risks. Success in network marketing happens when people are willing to step out of their comfort zone and make bold moves . You need to be willing to try even if there is a chance you might fail. I talk about that a lot but it is so much better to try and fail then not to try at all. There are basically two outcomes to taking a risk. You could take a risk and have an amazing outcome or you could try and fail. If you fail it is completely okay as long as you learn something from your failure.
Self Confidence. In this industry you can’t be afraid or rejection. You need to have a thick skin and be confident in yourself. You are going to hear the word “no” and you are going to have challenges. You can let those things defeat you. You need to have enough confidence to get through obstacles that you are going to face.
Time Management skills. We all have the same amount of time but the people who find success in network marketing get so much done. That is because successful people realize the importance of managing their time. If you can take your time and goals and break them down into manageable chunks you will accomplish so much more and you won’t have regrets in how you use your time. Time is one of our most precious assets since it is a non-renewable resource so we have to use it wisely.
These are just some of the most important things that I think are needed to find success in network marketing. There are a lots more internal and external factors that will affect how you do and your success. I would love to hear your comments below on what other things you think are essential to rocking your Network Marketing business.
I would love to hear from you. What are some things you have found produce success in network marketing?

Hey Angela,
I wanted to add to ways that have been helping me along the way.
You want to not only have a plan but stick to that plan. This way you have a schedule and know what you are suppose to be doing at all times.
Another way, is to have a system. I specifically have an online system that I use for training myself and my team.
Believe me, I am not perfect and sometimes I don’t follow my plan or get off track. That it is important to use those time management skills you talked about.
I still work full time and pick up my kids after work. My business hours start at 8pm, so I really have to stick to my plan and manage my hours.
Thanks for the post

Hey Tommy! Yes, having a plan that you stick to and a great training system. I understand you having to stick to a plan because I am a mom and have limited time to get done what I need to do too.
Thanks for your comment!

Angela,
I think your first point is definitely the most important for any home business person. If you don’t have the drive to make yourself get up and do what is necessary to grow your business, you’re going to fail.
We’ve all got to do better about creating that plan and following through if we want to achieve our dreams.

Yeah, if you don’t have the self discipline to work you will fail. If you are not self motivated this probably is not for you. Thanks for your comment!

Action is so important. I think sometimes we take so much time learning and planning without taking action. You have to get in there and get busy and take massive action. Thanks for you comment!

Great List Angela. I liked your list but would like to add the vision of where you want to go. I know this goes along with drive, but you must have a passion for what is driving you. Your “North Star”.

Hey Angela, I completely agree with you. Those 5 things are the key to being successful in this business of Network Marketing. If you only just have 4 of them. You might have some success, but you will not be the complete package. I am glad that you put drive and character at the top. Without those two qualities, you will not get very far. Lets face it, Network Marketing is all about relationships, build trust with your team. If you don’t set a good example for the rest of your team, you and your team are destinded to fail. Great post!

Angela,
A lot of great points here…
I also feels its important to join a company
that the masses can do. We have to remember
that the masses don’t have sales experience so
they can’t create a new need in the market place.
Most companies out there have luxury products
that the masses can’t duplicate. They are products
that are causing people to have to change their monthly
budgets to the tune of $100+ a month. The masses can’t
create that new need, so it doesn’t duplicate for them… and
when they quit… they stop ordering the products themselves
because they were only ordering them to be active to earn
commissions.
Just my thoughts

Hey Jason! Thanks so much for your comment. I agree with you that most people don’t have marketingexperience so they might struggle in company with luxury products. I think learning marketing is an important aspect to being in this industry.

Hi Angela,
You sure have identified 5 of the most important keys to success in network marketing and you have shared them very effectively.
My favorite is Taking Risks. You have to be willing to fail in order to succeed in network marketing. Have you read Richard Fenton and Andrea Waltz’s Go For No book? They talk about not just getting beyond the No’s and going forward, but wanting the No’s and getting goals for the number of No’s you want. It has begun to change Dave and I’s attitude toward failing and it fits very well with your Taking Risks key to success.
Thanks for sharing your perspective here!

Hey Julie! It can be tough just starting out because you are kind of thrown out there with not a lot of experience or knowledge of where to start. It is great that there are so many wonderful bloggers and vloggers out there that are willing to share. Thanks for your comment!

Hi Angela. I think you wrapped this list up quite well. These five things are absolutely essential and be good at all five is certainly an admirable goal.
Time management is an interesting choice on your list. I think the first four all do make up a part of our character. But time is always such a fluid concept. We are all ultimately making the most of our time now so that someday soon we will be able to enjoy more of it without having to feel the pressure of producing.

Angela,
I agree completely, and I believe those 5 things are all part of the foundation of someone’s success. The foundation is never seen, but it transcends in everything someone does. Someone can have a great-looking house, but it needs a concrete foundation or it’s doomed to collapse. Likewise, with network marketing, people try to succeed on the surface, but at the expense of their foundation.
One I would think to add is teachability, or continual improvement; as John Maxwell said, “If you’re through growing as a leader, you’re through.”
I hope this makes sense. You’re a great writer, keep it up.
